Revisional Surgery
Bariatric surgery is usually the solution for people to achieve long-term weight loss.
Most patients achieve their weight loss goals and enjoy their improved health and lifestyle.
However, some patients consider revisional surgery if they haven’t reached their goals. There can be a variety of reasons why you may consider a revision—inadequate weight loss, weight re-gain, unresolved health problems, or complications.
Our first step in evaluating someone for revisional surgery is to try and see if the original bariatric surgery procedure can work. We will work with your to refocus your weight loss efforts on proper food choices, exercise habits and provide your with education you may be lacking if you had surgery elsewhere. For some patients, that is all that is needed. But some patients have issues that will require a revision.
Our revisional surgery patients come to us from Greensboro, High Point, Kernersville, Winston-Salem, Burlington and close-by communities. We are ready to help you. Attend one of our in-person or online seminars or contact us at (336) 387-8100 to get the process moving forward.
