Eric M. Wilson, MD FACS FASMBS
Dr. Eric Wilson is a native of Abbeville, South Carolina. He attended Clemson University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He elected to stay in Charleston to complete his general surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he also served as chief resident of general surgery.
Dr. Wilson joined Central Carolina Surgery in August 2010 and is board certified in general surgery. Dr. Wilson has been designated as a Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Wilson’s interests are primarily in all facets of minimally invasive general surgery, including procedures on the gallbladder, stomach, colon, and hernias, with particular focus in weight loss surgery.
